Where do you provide tutoring services?
I tutor in school for most students, but have also tutored at home when it is mutually convenient. Most schools provide tutoring times and spaces.
Do you provide tutoring over the summer?
Yes, I offer tutoring services over the summer, but on an abbreviated schedule. Please contact me to discuss your needs.
How many students do you tutor at one time?
Please contact me to discuss your situation. I typically tutor one-on-one, but there are some situations where group tutoring can be successful and fun.
What hours do you provide tutoring?
I typically tutor from 9am - 5pm. Many students are given tutoring times during school hours, and some schedule tutoring after school hours. I am flexible depending upon the travel required.
What do you charge for tutoring and how do you pay?
Please contact me for my rates. I charge hourly rates that are consistent with rates charged for elementary tutoring in San Francisco. I typically bill at month end for the previous month, and request payment on a timely basis. I accept checks, Venmo and Paypal.
What if my child falls ill and cannot make a tutoring session?
I request 24 hour notice if your child is no able to make a tutoring session. If I receive notice with 24 hours, I do not charge for the session.
